2-3 June 2016, Reykjavík, Iceland
The 8th Creating Knowledge conference will take place at the Hilton Nordica Hotel in Reykjavík, Iceland, 2-3 June, 2016.
This time the spotlight will be on practices, goals and visions for information literacy in higher education. Under that main theme we will pay special attention to implementation of information literacy into the curriculum, assessment of information literacy, information literacy and writing centres, and new challenges for information literacy.
Arranged by NordINFOLIT, a Nordic collaboration forum for information literacy, Creating Knowledge conferences have been held every second or third year in one of the Nordic countries since 1999. Creating Knowledge conferences provide an excellent opportunity to expand cooperation and to develop joint strategies for information literacy, that are viable for the future.
In 2016 Icelandic universities join their forces in hosting Creating Knowledge for the second time, first time held in Akureyri in 2003. The University of Iceland, Reykjavík University, The University of Akureyri and Bifröst University will do their outmost to make this a memorable event.
Save the dates: 2-3 June, 2016 – and begin to look forward to brilliant summer days and bright nights in the land of fire and ice
A very warm welcome to Reykjavík, Iceland!
